2010 Activities and Themed Weekends

 

Weekend fun may include:  Fire truck rides, hay rides, bingo, ceramics, kids' crafts, adult crafts, games, sports, contests, potlucks and other fun activities in addition to our themed weekend events. 

For fun anytime, check out our:  basketball court, volleyball court, fishing pond, playgrounds, mini-golf, horseshoe pits, or recreation center. 

Rainy Day or Lazy Day Activities:  Check out a board game or trade a book at the book exchange in the office.  Try your skills at pool or arcade games.
April

  2-  4

Easter Weekend  Hops with fun!  Annual Easter Egg Hunt, egg decorating and raw egg volleyball.

  9-11

Winter Escape.   Are you ready for another year of fun filled camping.  Potluck Saturday followed by bingo.

16-18

Luck ‘o the Irish.  It’s starting to get Green.  Find a four-leaf clover, guess the weight of the Blarney Stone,  Corn beef & cabbage dinner ($$ limited tickets available for meal).  Bingo.

23-25

Souper-er Bowl.  Football toss and other games.  Warm up at our Soup-er Bowl potluck on Saturday.  Bring your favorite soup, salad or dessert to pass.

4/30-5/2

Derby Days.  Be a horse owner for a day, buy a horse at our auction and get ready for the Evening Star Derby on Saturday night.

Mother’s Day.  Mom’s only wine and cheese hayride.  Sing for Mom’s with Extreme Karaoke Service.  Mother’s Day Breakfast ($$ - Mom’s Free)

Guiness Games.  Our annual contests.  Beat old records/set new ones.  Featuring games of skill and feats of endurance.  Guitar Hero Saturday night.

Golf Cart/Bicycle Rodeo 1.    Skill races for bicycles and golf carts. (Carts are available for contests.)

28-31

Memorial Day.  Campground wide Garage/Craft Sale. Holiday parade, horseshoe tournament, tie-dye, bingo,  ceramics and plenty of fun activities.  Dance Saturday with DJ’s Broadcasting and Sunday with Extreme DJ Service.  Breakfast Sat/Sun ($$).  Pool will be open.

Chocolate Lover’s.  Chocolate pudding eating contest, flashlight chocolate hunt.  Get in on all the chocolate fun.

Valentine’s Day.  Join the fun with Cupid’s crafts and activities and dance on Saturday night with DJ’s Broadcasting.

Father’s Day.  Dad’s only beer & pretzel hayride.  Dad’s & Kid’s Games.  Father’s Day Dinner Saturday night (Dad’s Free - $$).  Dance on Saturday night with Campground DJ.

Family Fun.  Come out and enjoy games and activities for the whole family.

USA Birthday.  Holiday parade, candy bar bingo, volleyball, crafts, tie-dye, horseshoe tournament ceramics,  Dance with Extreme DJ Service Saturday.  Breakfast Sat/Sun ($$).

9th Annual St. Jude’s Benefit & Pool Party.  Rock all day Saturday at the pool party with music by DJ’s Broadcasting.  Pool fun, contests and raffles.  Proceeds benefit St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.

Wet & Wild Weekend.  Wet hay ride, sponge tag, water tug of war, wet volleyball.  If it gets wet, we got it and you'll get it.  Dance Saturday with Campground DJ.

Christmas in July.  Join Santa on vacation at Evening Star.  Christmas present bingo.  Christmas ceramics.  Special Breakfast with Santa ($$) on Sunday.
